When Walmart first opened in the town I lived in, about 1983, they had an “open door policy” on returns. I saw in return piles clothing that had to be 5-10 years old. I was shocked.

I was expecting the conversation to go differently. I worked with a manager years ago who did not understand that a valid ID meant that it could not be expired. she had been a regional manager for many years at another company. I had to Google it for her and show her proof of what a valid ID meant

A DL is to operate a vehicle. A return has nothing to do with that. It can still be uses to identify you but this policy is ridiculous.

you know I've heard the policy they must have a valid driver's license a valid state ID a valid passport bor in some states a valid tribal card but I've never heard tale of only a valid driver's license for one what if this kid is underaged say for example 16 or 17 they're going to have a state ID but not a driver's license this woman's full of it
