Before I open my Bible, I’ve been learning to slow down and pray first instead of rushing into reading. Sometimes we can read Scripture without truly asking Yahuah for wisdom, understanding, correction, or guidance through His Word. 3 simple prayers I’ve been praying lately: 📖 “Father, thank You for this moment with You. Please send Your Spirit to guide me through Your Word. Grant me wisdom, understanding, and clarity as I receive Your Words and teaching.” 📖 “Yahuah, open my heart and mind to understand what You want to teach me today.” 📖 “Help me not only hear Your Word, but apply it to my life daily.” I’m still growing in consistency and understanding myself, but praying before reading has helped me approach Scripture with more intention, humility, and expectation.
