@ilobcarolineforbes: I dont say this to “dehumanize” her, (i wanna state this since ive had some unlikeable arguments ab this take) imo the reason why people seems offended when they hear the word “animal” is because either conscious or unconsciously think we are “superior,” of course you could say we are more “civilized” in a way or two but that doesn’t make us any finer, we are still part of multiple aspects that create and contribute to an ecosystem or environment, and so does many other species. When i say “looks like an animal” i primarily think of a feline, such as a jaguar, since neytiri share multiple traits in these scenes that remind me of them.
