I’ve spent 50 years doing remodels… And I don’t know how many of those kitchens I’ve installed… Through the years I’ve yank so many things out and it got thrown away… Really cool stuff… And it’s such a waste… people have no imagination they just want what they saw at the store… My mind is always full of ideas, but they don’t wanna listen to some old carpenter that doesn’t have the taste that they do…

I think often it’s the lighting that’s bad! Those old strips are terrible. Changing ceiling lighting/ adding lights under the cabinets, and lamps. All with smart bulbs, makes such a difference ! Most modern cabinets are such poor quality it’s great to keep the old ones when possible
