I listened to everyone about not having newborn onesies. then baby ended up early via c section for IUGR. not only did I need newborn but needed preemie too

Yeah, “leaps” are just baby horoscopes. No science at all. No way every baby born on the same date hits every milestone at exactly the same time.

Also, don’t feel the need to track everything all the time. It caused me great anxiety with my first and my second the doctor barely asks you questions regarding all the things you tracked.

get a teddy bear that can wear baby clothes and go nuts get as much as you want and like 20 white onesies so you won't need to think about what they're gonna wear when you're tired

and every baby is different, too. if you and your partner are both short or were small babies, get more newborn onesies. mine was born full term (6 lbs 3 oz) and needed preemie stuff for weeks. was wearing newborn stuff for months.
