Ginuwine knew exactly what he was doing with this one 🔥 “In Those Jeans” became one of the smoothest and most unforgettable R&B records of the early 2000s. Released in 2003 from The Senior, the song peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of Ginuwine’s biggest solo hits. What made the track stand out was the simplicity. Smooth production, laid back vocals, and a hook everybody remembered instantly. It didn’t need overproduction or complicated lyrics, just pure vibe and confidence. The beat, the falsetto, the delivery… everything about it felt effortless. That’s why this song still gets reactions every time it comes on. Early 2000s R&B had a different type of smoothness, and this track is a perfect example of it.
