an entire visual album is so insanely expensive which is why they’re so rare, even the biggest artists don’t get budget like that. her having 3 big budget ones is already pretty generous for her first album under this label. plus she likes doing things DIY, the fireworks were $0 and if they were done w a legitimate budget under the label they would not have looked as good bc im sure there’s a bunch of regulations and stuff

I just think it’s bittersweet that her previous release under a smaller label she tried to be high glamour and now that she’s under a bigger budget she’s going back to her roots with a more low budget aesthetic reminiscent of her upbringing
