Honestly, I'm just tired of "call out" culture in our industry. Some of it is warranted, other times it's just petty and for views. I know you can't separate science, politics etc from beauty, and even I dabble in it (I try to be constructive), but I also just want to let people live. There's too much unkindness on the internet as it is. I personally just want to promote inclusiveness and community.

I’ve been a long time follower of yours and I love love love your content, but I feel like the video was definitely a bit rude/unnecessary in the delivery. I understand your viewpoint and concern 100%, but I don’t think she was trying to say that it was 100% safe for EVERYONE with an allergy. Idk I obvi don’t know everything but it definitely came off as petty :( I’m not trying to be rude in this comment I just hate seeing nail tech beef lol it makes me sad

I'm very confused as a follower of you both. This seems petty. Has something happened to warrant your original video? I was felt she was very clear about her intentions with her channel, I have not always agreed with her but she is seemingly well meaning. I also saw her response video and feel like I missed something.

I’ll be honest, I thought it was mean at first but going back and taking emotion away from it, I see your point completely and logically. Maybe the delivery wasn’t what everyone wanted to hear but you’re someone who is always basing your support for something with integrity which I appreciate and I’m not going to write you off based on one video where you came off “spicy” for having a valid point.

I've been following you both for a while and was very put off by that video. i get the overall message, but I personally don't think it applies to her because she literally prefaces her vids with the disclaimer that it may or may not work for her and people need to do research. if you were a man, I'd still be put off because it was off putting and making it seem like it was misogyny is just an odd take. people can be upset & disappointed with your behavior without it being internalized misogyny. it is very possible that it just you & the content.

If you were a man they would be focused on the behavior, not your “responsibility to be a good friend” and being shamed for not blindly supporting another woman- men arent required by the social contract to be supportive of anyone. Women calling other adult women “mean girls” is misogyny. If they didnt agree they can just say that. You didn’t attack anyone’s character in your video- but they immediately attacked yours.
