@raimeetravel: If you’ll be anywhere in France on June 21… prepare yourself 😂🎶 Fête de la Musique is basically one giant nationwide music festival where the entire country turns into a party. Streets close down, random corners become dance floors, bars spill outside, DJs set up in the middle of plazas, and somehow every single person you know ends up out until sunrise. A few things to know before you go: • It gets VERY crowded in big cities like Paris • A lot of people just wander from neighborhood to neighborhood following whatever music sounds best • Wear comfy shoes because you’ll walk way more than you think • Public transport becomes chaos late at night so plan ahead • Phone service can get spotty with so many people out • Bring cash + portable charger • Dinner reservations? Good luck lol • Some of the best music is honestly the random street performers you accidentally find! • My favorite area to explore for this was Montmarte! Also, don’t over-plan!! Pick an area, start walking, grab a drink somewhere outside, follow the music, and let the night unfold. If you have a trip here and didn’t know about this … well now you know ! I didn’t know it was a thing until I went last year and I had so much fun!
