In my whole entire 33 years of life... and raised in the deep south of the America..and granny taught me a lot of cooking... I've never heard of a tomotoe pie. Better yet.. I just asked her, and she said she's never heard of it either in her whole 80 years. But now she wants me to make it for her to try. Is it a big family recipe, or just a " my mama made it" kind of a thing? Im going down a rabbit hole of recipes. Thank you for the start of an interesting history lesson.
