@riwhey_orthehighway: In hindsight nothing particularly bad happen; he and all his roomates are all very nice ppl, it was just the overwhelming shame and guilt that I had been feeling/felt because of my relapse kind of all hit me at once. I have picked up several white chips, and hopefully never have to again. But starting over is never something to be ashamed of and you can start your life over a million times until something sticks. my "rock bottom" was recognizing that everyone i was "friends" with/was drinking with was TEN whole years older than me and had no progress compared to me. we lived in w our parents, we drove run down cars, we worked to pay for alcohol and gas to work. and so i cut back. idk if im ready for true sobriety but i cut out those friends and have REALLY worked on moderation
