I don't like Kindle anymore but if the text matters to you the Kobo Libra Color (if that's the one you meant sorry) will also have that slight fuzzy appearance. I actually was coming to this video because Palma has not restocked their B&W version of this but it keeps pulling me. I want this device so bad but you just convinced me not to get it so ty. $400 is a lot to not be satisfied. I have my Xteink X4 which I got for like $30 on Aliexpress (got it to keep myself from spending $400) so I really don't need the boox it is just so highly raved about and has more capability but over all its not needed for me. Especially because weight matters.

if you dont like the screen and the weight of the palma pro 2... you may not like the kobo libra color. 🤷🏾♀️. Stick with b&w ereaders if the text contrast is very important to you. No color ereader looks as crisp as a bw ereader. (from someone who has all three devices)

I don’t love it either. I mainly use it when I I have a tiny bag lol. I got it ridiculously cheap brand new on Facebook market place, so I’m keeping it. It ranks about 4th in my e-reader rankings

the words not being as crisp is because its a colored eink device, so there is another layer of “screen” which is the colored one, which is why bw devices are generally more sharp and seem “crispier”. If you mainly read novels, bw devices are def better. Android eink devices require a lot of tinkering for you to find a setting you personally enjoy, especially if you read colored manhwa/comics.

I have the original boox palma and I really didn't have any issue with ghosting. I mostly read novels but now I have a tcl 60 and I use it as a errader because now im starting to read more graphic novels. im traveling more in the summer so I wanted something phone size and vivid colors. It way more affordable
