Is everyone forgetting he actually bought the one wish willow for Nikki? He didn’t buy it for himself. On the ride home he says he got her something and she jokes about it and teases him and he decides not to give it to her. His insecurity got the best of him. He didn’t think it would work he just did it on a whim. With that said he still is a pathetic character

There were too many ppl laughing in my theatre at moments that to be honest left a pit in my stomach. People just don’t take this topic seriously enough and come out the movie confused not knowing that they’re not supposed to root for Bear.
