@sorceress.crafts: Icelandic bind-off is a nice, decorative finish to your knits, especially if you're knitting garter stitch, but it's really fiddly to do with knitting needles, so my preference is always to knit Icelandic bind-off with a crochet hook. Sadly the original bind off method works only on western mounted stitches, but I've included two adaptation options for combination and eastern style knitters. #knittingtutorial

I recently used it for a sleeve with 1x1 rib. I do combination continental, and I just do the first you demonstrated and it was easy enough to do, and I think it looks really nice.
