My parents bought their 5 bedroom house from my grandparents for $32k cause my grandparents wanted to help them out. I had to give the bank a $74k deposit alone cause my parents wanted me to learn how to be independent. 😒

Same thing happens everywhere, not just in the West. My father purchased a house in Beijing at approx. 15,000$ in 2000, he sold it at equivalence of 1.2$ million in 2022. Same shit happens in China too.

I’m so thankful my parents didn’t give me anything. I was taught to work for what I have. And yes I will sale everything and enjoy life after retirement…. I taught my kids to make their own way also.
