So....I tell them they can stay home, but they have to help with the Spring Cleaning of the house. Washing windows, washing floors, cleaning out their room, cleaning out the basement, cleaning out the garage. They can choose the room of their choice. We can get so much done together with a full day, 10-3pm. Same rules apply as school, no phones or internet. Let's get to work gang!😁

as a current FL public school employee, yes that may be true about teachers saying that... teachers barely wanna come to school. but as a mom of teen girls, my response is always " thats nice, attendance still count"

I tell my two that if they don't have work to do in school and would like to stay home with me, the Internet will be off all day, phones locked in a drawer, and a to-do list on the counter. They have until 3pm to finish it or they don't get their stuff back. Suddenly school sounds like a better option

My senior seems to think he already graduated and mentally checked out of school 2 months ago…senioritis is real and so is the struggle and battle to get him to go to school every day. Graduation in 2 weeks and I am done with public school - 3rd and last one through Florida Public schools - WHOOHOO! 🙏🏻
