Couldn’t be more obvious that thing was a reptilian. A vivarium is a tiny greenhouse for pet reptiles. Hence the reason everything was green, the thing hissing and running underneath the sidewalk like a lizard, and his throat bubbling like a frog.

I watched this movie. I hated how they just try to tolerate the kid that is not even there’s and knew the kid is not human until it’s too late. I’ve would’ve done everything I could ruin the neighborhood

The movie was literally a commentary on suburban life and corporate overlords. Their home is a PRISON for christs sake and the parasite that is clearly supposed to be middle management (he's dressed like a middle manager) with the TV telling them things their Parents are blind to like bruh
