@hicarsondogss: This audio destroyed me 🙁😭 and made me think about the dogs on death row at every single shelter being pulled from their kennels with their tails wagging, thinking they’re going to the play yard… not knowing they’re actually being walked to the clinic to lose their lives. I wish volunteers were allowed to stay with them in those final moments. We may not be their person, but we’re the people who sit with them, love on them, talk to them, and try to make them feel safe while they’re here.

thats why I always stay with mine. I hold them and I hold my hand where their heart is so I have their last heartbeat in my hand and I take it with me. the babies I have lost due to old age and one from cancer they didn't leave this world without me holding them and the last words hearing me say Mommy loves you! its heartbreaking that humans can be so evil and not realize these babies have more feelings than humans.
