Literally, we sold our “real house” and after pricing to build the size home we wanted we said absolutely NOT. so we got the tru redwood home, 5 bedroom 3 bathroom, extra den + 10 acres of land for under $200k. YES!

Love this.. people judge my single wide trailer but I got it brand new 3 bed 2 bath including all new appliances and a half acre lot for $800 when in my area a two bedroom cramped crappy apartment will cost you 1500 🤷♀️

2432sqft double wide on 1.1 flat acre. $720 a month that's with insurance and taxes. Purchased in 2019. Tax assessment is now over $300k. I owe $108k. I aint going anywhere!

I mean depends on where you live in all honesty. i bet my mortgage for my 1500sq ft 3 bed 2 bath house with a 2 car garage on a acre, taxes and insurance included, is cheaper than your double wide. I dont mind trailers but up where I live they collapse every year under the snow.
