@ascaramucci: My father had a laborer’s income. Recession hit, his hours got cut, we got cut back. The air conditioning went in on Memorial Day and came out on Labor Day — could be 500 degrees on September 2nd, didn’t matter. I want to be clear — I did not grow up poor. I’d never dishonor my dad by saying that. But I was contributing to my parents’ income from age 12. That house they bought cost $16,000. The property taxes on it today are $24,000 a year. My parents could never afford the house they raised me in. That’s not a policy argument. That’s my family and it’s happening everywhere. What a pleasure it was to join my friends Dan Nathan and Guy Adami on their brilliant new show “Standing Table”. #anthonyscaramucci #politics #economy #fyp #tiktok

1970s, my dad came home and one of us left the door open with the AC on. There was no more AC that Summer except after 10pm-8am. I’m talking South Texas heat! We learned a valuable lesson that sticks with me to this day at 61 years of age.

You previously said your dad was a crane operator. I’m sure they didn’t make what they make today. But today union crane operator makes a minimum of $250K per year.
