I do a full disassembly on my microtech and clean. Very light oil then resemble. Too much oil and dirt builds up faster.

I use my knife for everything, also I use it for food a lot. And using these toxic chemicals on it is not good. The best thing I found that works great is food grade mineral oil, that way if you use your knife for food it's non-toxic. 🤮
