@cruiseshipparadise: ⚓️ This is what the view looks like when you’re floating 90 meters above the sea right next to your cruise ship 🛳️ These are the views from the North Star, one of the coolest attractions you can find onboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class ships. And my GOD… I know I already talked about it before, but just LOOK at this 😮‍💨 If there’s one tip I can give you, it’s this: do the North Star during a sea day and book it around sunset time. Trust me on this one. The views are absolutely unreal and seeing the ship from that perspective while sailing is honestly one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had at sea. I got especially lucky with this ride because we had just left Mykonos and were sailing toward Athens during golden hour, and I guess most people were either exhausted from the port day or getting ready for dinner… so there were only two other people with me in the capsule 😭 It basically felt like a private sunset ride floating above Odyssey of the Seas and honestly… it does NOT get much better than that. Now, one thing to know, the free North Star rides happen on port days and usually last around 5 minutes. The arm only goes up and down while docked. But during sea days, you can book the extended experience which costs extra and lasts around 15 minutes. That’s the one where the arm actually swings out over the sides of the ship while the ship is moving, which is INSANE in the best possible way. And yes… I absolutely think both experiences are worth doing because they honestly feel completely different.
