just wanted to say that for people wanting to change their name but holding back because of the cost, check if your county has a fee waiver! i filled out a form detailing my financial situation (based on honor system!) and paid 0 instead of 300 for my name change. only cost is paying for certified copies of the order and they're like 10 bucks!
