When I found out I had Type 2 diabetes, it was devastating. I was confused because nobody in my immediate family had Type 2 diabetes. My mom didn’t have it. My dad didn’t have it. Today, I’m heading into year seven medication-free. The biggest lesson I learned is that I’m not special. If I was able to reverse Type 2 diabetes after hitting rock bottom and dealing with the complications that came with it, many of you are capable of far more than you realize. Too many people with Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, and PMOS give up on themselves before they ever give their body a chance to respond. Don’t quit on yourself. Put in the work.
