It’s not really common to see black people in mexico, native mexicans were the ones being slaved here in MX back in the conquest, it was cheaper than bringing african slaves, which is why there’s very very little afro mexicans. So it’s not personal, it’s just that in fact they probably have never seen a black person outside a screen.
