@bakedforu: Lemon Loaf Pound Cake Recipe: - 1 cup butter room temp - 1 cup sugar - 4 eggs - 2 cups flour - 2 tsp baking powder - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 cup sour cream - Zest of 1 lemon - Juice from half lemon Lemon Vanilla Icing - 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar - 1 Tablespoon lemon juice - 1 Tablespoon milk or cream - 1 Tablespoon butter, melted - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions for Slide 6 and 7 in a seperate bowl mix together 2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt. Add a third of the dry mix to the wet mix, then whisk till combined. Add a third of the 1/2 cup sour cream and whisk together. Repeat steps (should be 3 times) till completed! thisis optional but if you want a more strong lemon flavor you can add lemon syrup to the loaf about 5 minutes after taking it out the oven!
