Arrtx sent me their ๐๐ž๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŽ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐‹๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ค ๐€๐œ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ to test. โ€จI also had the chance to try their previous set of 36 colors, and what I like about the new set is the wider selection of skin tones, as well as the darker brown ๐“๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ and the darker red ๐“๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”, which I really missed in the previous set. What I really like about these markers is the brush tip, because itโ€™s flexible, and the fact that they are direct liquid ink markers, which makes the coverage stronger. I think they are better for larger areas because of the flow ink inside, since itโ€™s liquid. The only thing is that ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ง๐ž๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ก๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ซ well before each use so the ink thickens and leaves a smooth effect. In this video, I tested them on Art Creation sketchbook with a 140 gsm paper. I like how they behave on it, although I would still recommend slightly thicker paper, since I tested the previous set on 265 gsm mixed-media paper. I wanted to see the difference, but blending is easier on thicker paper. For an easier blending technique, you can also use a brush or your finger like I did in the video, and since the markers are more liquid, the colors mix more easily.
