A ruling of an acquittal in court of law is just that. A legal decision. It does not determine whether or not a person or persons actions are morally or ethically sound.

she volunteered to take a lie detector test and passed. while not admissible, none of the guys volunteered to take one. Hockey Canada settled within a couple weeks after hearing & investigating to try to avoid making public the events of thar night

Being acquitted or found legally not guilty means the court could not prove that the accused committed the crime beyond a reasonable doubt but it does not mean that they did not commit the crime but rather that they are not responsible under the law because the legal requirements are not met. Please keep this in mind. Not guilty only applies to the legality and is not always the same as if something actually occurred. Also as Neil stated it is separate from moral beliefs and implications.
