PRODUCTIVITY ISN’T ABOUT DOING MORE. It’s about having a simple system that helps you use your time better, know what matters, and stop letting small things pile up. 1. HAVE A WEEKLY RESET Set aside 1–2 hours each week to get your life back in order. Use the time to: * Review your week * Update your calendar * Remove unnecessary tasks * Handle unfinished things * Plan the week ahead One weekly reset → Less chaos all week 2. GET EVERYTHING OUT OF YOUR HEAD Don’t rely on yourself to remember everything. When something comes up: Write it down immediately. Use your phone, notebook, or another place that’s always easy to access. Your brain is for thinking—not storing reminders. 3. BUILD ONE SIMPLE SYSTEM You don’t need the prettiest productivity setup. Choose a simple system for: Tasks → Calendar → Notes → Projects The best system is the one you’ll actually keep using. 4. KNOW WHAT BELONGS ON YOUR CALENDAR Not everything belongs on your to-do list. EVENT = happens at a specific time → Calendar TASK = needs to get done → To-do list If an important task keeps getting postponed, schedule time for it on your calendar. 5. BATCH SIMILAR TASKS Stop constantly switching between completely different activities. Instead, group: Emails → Calls → Meetings → Writing → Errands Finish similar things together while you’re already in that mode. 6. FINISH TINY TASKS QUICKLY Have a bunch of little things taking up mental space? Batch together tasks that only take a minute or two: * Send the text * Reply to the short email * Put something away * Wipe down your desk Don’t spend days thinking about something that takes two minutes to finish. 7. DO YOUR 3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST Ask yourself every morning: “If I only finish 3 things today, what should they be?” Do the important work before filling your day with easy little tasks. Important first → Easy stuff later 8. SEPARATE URGENT FROM IMPORTANT Not everything screaming for your attention deserves it. Use four categories: Urgent + Important → Do Important + Not Urgent → Plan Urgent + Not Important → Reduce Not Urgent + Not Important → Remove Spend more time on important things before they become emergencies. 9. CLEAN YOUR INBOXES REGULARLY Don’t let email, mail, receipts, documents, and random tasks become giant piles. Regularly sort them into: Do now → Important → Save for later → Archive Small piles are much easier to manage than months of accumulated clutter. 10. PLAN TOMORROW TONIGHT Before going to bed, decide: What needs to happen tomorrow? What are my top priorities? When am I doing them? Then you can wake up and start instead of spending the morning figuring out what to do. #financialplanning #financeadvice #finance101 #financefreedom #financiallyindependent
