My fabric softener is white distilled vinegar it makes my stuff so soft and it helps the soap get in so everything smells so good

I dont use vinegar to "Clean my washer" I use it to keep my clothes soft without coating them like fabric softener does.

I don’t use softener because of this. My dad has repaired appliances for over 40yrs and told me to use dish washing POWDER in the machine every couple of months to get that sludge out.

I’ve never used fabric softener. Our clothes are just fine. Stop adding extra chemicals into your clothes which will penetrate into your skin! Also don’t use scent boosters either. Be conscious where you can be about your wellbeing

Just put a 1/2 cup of baking soda in for the rinse cycle. Works better than fabric softener, removes old smells, brings life back to clothes and towels.

Or crazy idea just don’t use fabric softener. It’s absolutely trash and all it does is attach plastic particles to your clothes to make them feel soft does not actually make your clothes soft.
