On the truck topic. It’s best to have a conversation about what the vehicle needs to accomplish? Does it need to fit the whole family? If yes, a truck is out. A large SUV like a Pilot, Highlander, Tahoe, etc. that could tow a utility trailer is the better option. If the family doesn’t need to all be in it at the same time, a truck is back on the table! Will he tow a lot of weight? If not, you might not need a full size truck. Something like a Tacoma could work. If it’s an everyday run around vehicle that needs limited towing but good gas mileage, look no further than the Honda Ridgeline. It’s drives like a sedan, but comes with a bed and can tow a small trailer (5,000lbs) for yard projects, etc. Usually figuring out what the vehicle needs to do first helps guide you to the vehicle the suits your needs best. I’m a huge Honda & Toyota advocate. They’re reliable, affordable & hold their value really well!

I just did the same thing today! I use my regular vacuum because of the attachments and I feel like it’s the only thing that I feel actually works.

If you have a business & you use the truck for business, I believe you can deduct the entire cost from your federal taxes in the first year. There are some requirements that have to be met but it could work.

It is not glamorous but a Toyota Sienna is the best all around car. Gets better gas mileage than a truck, is not as imposing as an SUV, can fit up to 7-8 (6 really comfortably) people if needed and the seats either fold into the floor or come out. You can fit drywall in there, queen sized mattresses and you can attach a hitch and tow most things a person could want. Also great for roadtripping. My parents literally have two I stg

Make a spray bottle with water & little fabric softener & spray on the carpet. The debris will vacuum right off & smells good.
