I think the fan service is intentional, a lot of it seems inspired by older video games which were full of fan service, so it’s just matching the setting

To be honest, The swimsuits aren't fan service at all, they're literally swimming underwater. I can also get the argument of the restraints being weird, but I feel like it would always look weird no matter what kind of restraint they are in just because they are in swimsuits💔

I feel like they did this to spark the attention of the furry fandom so they create art and if they create fan art free promotion, more promotion more viewers and the cycle repeats itself. BUT THATS JUST A THEORY

Unfortunately it’s been RubberRoss’s style for years if you look back at his YouTube videos with his wife and other content creators. I do wish their was more variety with the female characters, it feels like Onepiece
