@jasminedepqua: Jubilee, a Korean American founded media company and YouTube channel, claims they want to become the "Disney of empathy," but it genuinely doesn't sit right with me to turn issues involving human rights, oppression, deportation, war and exploitation into debate entertainment. We are watching basic human rights be threatened in real time while families are separated, people lose their homes, innocent civilians suffer and survivors of abuse are forced to watch deeply traumatic situations become content. And every single time these videos end with "neutrality," but some issues should not be treated neutrally when real people's safety, dignity and lives are on the line. #jubilee #korea #asian #vietnam #debate
