@xconstantgardenerx: A lot of people are saying that nothing happened on Trump’s visit to China and that it was a waste of time and half a billion dollars. But a lot happened. The Chinese forced Trump to exercise and he cheated on Diet Coke with white Red Bull. My speculation is that none of the deals happened because the Chinese are drawing a hard line about Taiwan, demanding the US end its “presence” on the island. The Chinese know they are coming from a position of unprecedented strength and that Trump and his pet CEOs need China’s money more than China needs anything from them.
