I was an E5 (navy) driving Army, Marine & Air Force Colonel to the embassy in Kuwait. On the way back they started talking about what each service stood for. The Marine Colonel asked my opinion, I paused, looked in the rear view mirror & "I don't need to say, after all, you're in my equipment." It took a second & I thought I was screwed... nope, they started laughing.

Mind you I was 17 working in a restaurant and the owners sons, who were much older than me, were just gross. Just touchy feely, always making sexual remarks, it was the late 80’s we just didn’t know we were getting sexually harassed. Anyway the owner walks in and there are his sons standing on both sides of me, I’m kinda trapped between them and the dad says to me “how do my sons get to be around such a pretty rose”…. And I said… “well, you can always find a prick in every bunch.” I think that was the first time those guys were ever insulted in their life, the dad laughed so hard he cried, thank goodness he was in charge, they kinda left me alone after that.

Back in Feb I finally got tired of a coworkers mouth and straight up told him to stfu…my manager was right there so he heard everything and didn’t say anything. The next morning I got called into the office immediately…I was like can I clock in first or will this not take long 😭 I got a promotion 😅 timing is everything 🤣

Worked at a CEO business club. Rich guy told me he was going to get me shit canned. My bar was closed. I mean, everything closed out, locked up. He wanted a drink. I looked at him and said, I don’t think so. They love me so much, I’m the bar manager now. But, I’ll let the GM know about our conversation. I did. Guy called GM wanting me fired in the AM. GM told him hell no. I was the best worker there. Was there for 22 years.

I was a bank teller working the drive though. People would ding the bell and ask to deposit their check, without sending anything in. I would ask if I was supposed to do it telepathicly, or were they gonna send it in? I used that one on a regular basis 🤣🤣🤣
