hey beautiful!! i studied ASL in university, and learning ASL is so much fun!! a big part of signing songs is thinking about what the words mean instead of what they literally are. so, for example, when he says “i stare at you” he’s referencing the moon, so the starting sign would be towards the hand that’s doing the moon sign! and when he says “i circle you” it would mean more like centering around you, instead of the literal shape! hopefully that makes sense, and please be sure to learn from the Deaf community and Deaf creators!! 🤟🏼🤟🏼

I’m glad you’re interested in ASL. Maybe watch Deaf creators sign this to correct some errors, and please sign in ASL grammar, not English grammar. Good learning!
