gender dysphoria is a mental disorder just like depression, ptsd, etc. i have a trans sister and just like the vast majority of trans people, gender affirming care literally saved her life. literally every major medical institution agrees that gender affirming care saves lives and that trans people are valid (also homophobia has nothing to do with trans people, that’s transphobia)

So sad to see sm ppl speak on trans issues when they usually have never met one I think it’s a great conversation to have and different perspectives are always great but I think if you haven’t lived or experienced what you’re talking about personally I think you’re missing pieces and assuming and filling in the blanks with what you just imagine not everybody’s journey is as simple as this let people live their lives. It’s not that deep. Trans ppl are not mentally ill there is medical basis and research and diagnosis is it’s not as simple as just saying we’re mentally ill we are people and are as complex as you spreading content like this, gives other people, the idea that trans people are mentally ill and spreads more hate, which leads to more harm for trans folks plz th
