my thing is with the braids statement is that when people are saying " any race can wear braids" they are always referring to box braids, cornrows, etc and never within that race culture. every race has their own type of braids that are different from African American braids, so why can't they wear their own culture braids? also I think us black wm should start wearing our hair texture in wigs bc the whole " well we black women wear white ppl hair so they can blahblah" is so infuriating because every ethnicity wore wigs, not everyone was wearing box braids with weave.
