Base44 is underwhelming and while this might be polished for consumer use it’s difficult to believe it’s better than something like Claude or an instance of Hermes. It’s also difficult to believe it doesn’t burn credits quickly.

communicating the API code in the chat is insecure. You can place API into your environment variables yourself very easily .env. Just ask your AI what the environment variable needs to look like, copy and paste that over to the .env, then place your API within it. For another layer of security create a .gitignore and add your .env file.
