@houseofmadla: Episode 4 is finally here and grabe, sobrang chaotic nitong week na ’to 😭 Since both me and Jayson are constantly flying back and forth between Hong Kong and Manila, bihira talaga na pareho kaming nasa Manila at the same time. Kaya kapag nagkataon na complete kami, alam na - packed schedule agad from morning hanggang gabi because every trip really counts. This week was filled with meetings, supplier visits, random errands, at maraming “hala paano ba ginagawa ’to?” moments habang slowly naming fina-figure out how the café world actually works behind the scenes. We visited a couple of coffee machine suppliers and honestly, ang dami rin pala talagang kailangan isipin. From understanding the different machine brands, workflows, and setups, to figuring out what kind of experience we actually want people to have when they visit House of Madla. And habang hinihintay namin yung initial interior designs from our designer, ang saya rin ma-inspire by the smaller details - utensils, textures, materials, cups, equipment, and all the little things people might not notice immediately but quietly shape the feeling of a space. Parang slowly nagiging totoo lahat. We’re still learning every day, making mistakes here and there, at minsan medyo nakaka-overwhelm din talaga… pero sobrang fulfilling makita yung vision namin slowly come together piece by piece.
