My biggest flex is that my gen alpha kid does not have her own screen and does not have regular access to any handheld device. She has never been an iPad kid and I’m so proud of this.

my youngest is an alpha and he's fierce. he's smart, he's social, he's driven, he's innovative, he's introspective, he uses tech to his advantage. his struggle is twofold: most of his peers aren't like this, and he struggles to accept his own physical limitations. but I'm not worried about him. he's gonna be a doer.

COVID never stopped my kids from going outside. We still went on adventures, parks, and they played with the neighbors. Yeah school was online for a bit but it was only here and there. The problem is definitely parents allowing too much screen time.

As a millennial raising a gen Alpha, no he's not using a tablet or screen. We refused to let him be an iPad kid and I do look down on parents with their kids in a cart at target blaring YouTube.

My granddaughters are Alpha. Allowed only 30 minutes of screen time a day. They are the most chatty, imaginative, social kids. Really admire the way their parents are raising them.
