use a jig for routing out the hinges its like $30 bucks man they make a jig for boring out the hardware as well you literally made that way harder than it had to be

Tuff fix even for most experienced carpenter way easier to get a pre hung & drilled whole door set up new weatherstripping & all and probably not much more $$ than just a slab ( then gotta re- work to fit in existing hole time is money ) then one screw up an ur screwed

Bro just buy the jig. Or use a chisel. Mark your hinges and cut out with a chisel.
