It’s amazing how many people are missing the point here. This is a classic Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Companies and brands intentionally release these experimental, bare-bones, substandard versions to test market demand and hype. They want to see how little effort they can put into quality, design, or functionality while still getting fans to buy into it. It’s basically a test to see how far they can push their audience before investing heavily on the product line.
