DETAILS: On Sunday, 9/13/98, at 2:16 pm, Williamson County Sheriff's Department of Tennessee received a call from April Bell, stating that her brother, Zayn Bell, and roommate, Nathan Martinez, had not returned home after visiting the abandoned Hartsville Nuclear Power Plant (HNPP) the prior day. The report was transferred to Trousdale County Sheriff's Department, who found Bell's car vacant at the site. A search was made over a two-week period, but neither Bell nor Martinez were found, and the case became inactive as of Monday, 9/28/98. 3 weeks later, on Thursday, 10/22/98, at 10:46 am, Rutherford County Sheriff's Department of Tennessee received a Missing Persons report for Scott Brooker from his roommate, Cameron Carter, after Brooker failed to return home the previous night. Carter told officers that Brooker went alone that day to the HNPP for "urban exploration" and did not return, as Brooker had told him he would. The report was forwarded to Trousdale County Sheriff's Department, who found Brooker's car outside the premises.
