Sigh. If my disability application is denied again i will lose my home. It’s so dehumanizing rationing meds and food because I never know if/when I’ll get them next. 😭

I’m in the same boat. Can’t stand for too long. Can’t sit for too long. Can’t lift anything above 10 lbs over my head anymore bc of my spine. My MS/fibromyalgia flares are a nightmare. They say don’t be stressed bc it makes it worse. Okayyy well I have no idea how to not be stressed we need money to live and I can’t work atm. Disability is beyond hard to get, The struggle is real.

yup. when I went septic mid pregnancy my job made me quit and illegally refused my doctors notes for light duty. thank you for that, Aramark. it took me almost 2 years to get a new job.

I worked in an at will state. They didn’t ever say it was because of my autoimmune disease-but I know it was. They “didn’t think I was the right fit” after a year….happened 6 weeks after diagnosis.

21 years old, have an apartment, 8 months without a job I went through all of my college savings, my over the counter meds are literally 200$ a month. Just got denied disability. To everyone else they just moved on with their lives when this is my reality every day. Not only do I manage my symptoms everyday I have to handle figuring everything out by myself.
