My daughter played math and spelling games on her tablet, I played them with her. It was a helpful addition to the other stuff we do together. Not everything on a tablet is mind numbing nonsense.

firstly counting rings might be the worst way ever to age a tree. not only does it require killing trees. growth rings don't appear during times the plant has little energy to put into growth. Get your child a better book than this

My kid learned all this on his iPad, my kid taught himself colours, taught himself how to draw (he is an unbelievable drawer) he taught himself how to swim all from education videos, my point being it’s not just readers that are smart
