NHS not fit for purpose now. Any referrals for MH take way too long and the support is not there when you are in crisis

I went to GP with burn out, sat there explaining everything and instead of a sick note, the GP told me to go through occupational health to access my work life balance 🙃 absolutely not understand ing and then had a stroke. 4yrs on all okay and working P/time.

Mine just referred me to the mental health practitioner who after an hour just fist pumped me as I was leaving and wished me a happy birthday for the following day. Even though I sat there in tears for the whole hour. He did nothing.

they might be able to do this, but the fact is they don't. I have a huge amount of respect for healthcare professional and dont want to argue, but you have to push and be so aggressive with GPs to get anything done it's horrible

That’s a lie , I self harmed myself on Thursday morning, my daughter came straight round and called my go and the receptionist said we have to give you a crises line the go didn’t want to see me . Go s don’t want to help when it comes to assessing you for burn out or when you have had enough
