@flowermumadventures: Pirates, smugglers and river executions on the Thames… this is one of the oldest pubs in London and it feels like stepping back in time 🏴‍☠️🍻 We visited the Prospect of Whitby in Wapping — a historic riverside pub dating back to the 1500s. Known for its dark maritime history, Execution Dock connections, and the iconic hanging noose overlooking the Thames. Hidden down a narrow alley is a tiny riverside beach with incredible views across the water, and inside you’ll find candlelit corners, dark wood interiors and an open fire that makes it feel really cosy and atmospheric.
