@inquisitormaekal: Ra Endymion was one of the Adeptus Custodes who fought beside the Emperor during the War in the Webway beneath Terra. During the battle, the Emperor faced Drach’nyen, an incredibly powerful daemon created from the first murder in human history. Even the Emperor could not truly destroy it permanently. After defeating it, He trapped the daemon inside a blade and handed it to Ra Endymion with a simple order: run. Ra understood that this was essentially a sacrifice. As long as he carried the weapon and remained lost within the endless darkness of the Webway, Drach’nyen would stay imprisoned and away from Terra. So while entire armies collapsed around him, Ra disappeared alone into the depths beneath the Imperial Palace carrying one of the most dangerous Warp entities in existence. Nobody knows what happened to him afterwards.
