@modus.consulting: Every client wants the version from the brief. Very few want to pay for the version from the brief. There’s always a point in production where the lighting gets cut, the actor becomes someone’s partner, the location changes to a warehouse, the car hire disappears, and suddenly the entire job becomes “just make it work.” Then the final video arrives and everyone’s confused why it doesn’t look like the reference. It's because our creative work has limits. A camera doesn’t magically replace the budget, time, talent, or planning. Most production problems aren’t editing problems. They’re compromise problems.
